Unfortunately, skateboarders don't replace their decks as often as they should and suffer a result. Not only do the riders lose but the industry; the brands, distributors and retailers lose as well.

It's bad enough that riders don't get to replace their decks when they need to; even worse is the fact that more and more riders are choosing a blank deck.

Why the P-TIP will improve your business and help grow revenues.

Riders generally replace their decks every 3-6 months. Riders are not only forced to endure dead pop and substandard board response over a prolonged period but the retailer does not earn any additional revenue until the rider replaces his deck.

Even though the tips of a deck may be worn, the rider generally replaces their deck when it snaps or when mom finally agrees to buy a new deck.

With the P-TIP riders get the consistent performance they deserve and retailers not only sell a deck but also earn extra income via the sales of the replacement P-TIPs.

Riders notice the improved performance they get from a fresh set of tips and replace them often. With deck margins at an all time low, retailers typically earn more income from the sale of a pair of replacement P-TIPs than they do selling a new deck.

Riding a worn razortailed deck hampers progress and riders don't have as much fun skating as they should. According to Shane Wallace CEO Active Rideshop, kids need 4-6 decks per month or risk quitting. The P-TIP is the best way to keep kids interested in skateboarding.
